Registration number changed

Getting the reg changed to my Xmas present was easy.

Take the V5C and Registration entitlement certificate to the DVLA office and they give you a new tax disc, a covering letter and the green slip from the V5C back to you (with the new reg written and stamped on it to confirm the DVLA are dealing with it).  You also need get an envelope to put your old tax disc in to return.

If you need to get plates made up they give you a certificate for this use but I've already got the plates made up.

Therefore, once I'd told my insurnace company, I was on the road in no time.

The DVLA get a load of stick (and some of it with justification) but I can't fault the Northampton office.
